Spring
By: Stephanie J. Bardy

The vibrant green, bursting from the trees. Reminds me that life is returning to the land. It is going about its business as usual. I watch from my red brick tower above. Little people scurrying about, shielded, hidden. While the tree flaunts its face in all its neon glory. It is Spring and as such, mating, and nesting, and growing has begun. But all the while, as I look out the window of my red brick tower, at the lushness of the life returning, the heater beside me belches out some warmth.

Because once again it has started to snow.

The End
