Every solar orbit, the mysterious and secretive residents of Venus celebrate the success of their colony with a huge feast. This year, Borov had the duty of flying to Earth to pick up supplies for his hives meal. As his ship sped toward the neighboring planet, he flashed a grin, displaying his large, sharp fangs. He enjoyed the challenge of holiday shopping.
The cow entrails would be easy to get a hold of without being detected. The five dozen Earthlings might be a little more difficult. Borov could only hope that the easily accessible ones hadn’t been picked over too badly.
