Vacation Lunch Break

The dusty van, packed with children and luggage, stopped in the middle of town.

The woman in the front seat looked at the shops neatly aligned along the street. She turned to her husband and said, "Either this town needs a new sign painter, or we should stop someplace else."

She pointed to a restaurant nestled between a quaint little "Bend and Break Fast" and the "I Scream Shop". A white sign, with block red letters proclaimed, "Kids, eat four – FREE."

Silently, the driver put the car in gear and the family sped down "Maim Street", leaving Atro City behind.
