Well here we are in May's issue and I find myself another year older and like everyone who has had a birthday in the past sixty–five days ago (from March 20th to May 24th), it was spent in quarantine. Over the time it has given me an opportunity to plot and re–plan for the future, as we truly do not know what lies in wait for you beyond the next horizon.

Last month, I offered up a thirty–three–part story that ran every day for the entire month of April and ended this month on the second. And while I know a handful of folks came in and read it every day, there were a wide number of you who did not. But my personal disappointment will not stop me from trying to provide entertainment to help with this crazy time in our life.

Starting June 1st, we will release stories from each issue starting with one—how they will be chosen is either they were Member of the Month Winner for that month or Story of the month. We plan to run this every day until release date of issue #87, which will be Monday August 24th.

We are also working hard to revive our e–books and are working hard to bring back as many books as we can from the past to present to you for enjoyment. I can say that coding is currently being done on Book of Dream, The World of Myth Anthology volumes I, II and III, Horrotica Online Magazine Anthology, It's a Dark Ride, Spiritual Awakening, The Dragon Hunters and of Fantasy Tails, Red Hills, Green Vines and Dried Monkey Meat for Dinner, Monsterthology Volumes I and II, A Dark World of Spirits and the Fey, You can’t kill me I'm already dead, Zombie EPICdemic, What Will Be, Will Be, Eternally Bound and Arthurian Things: A Collection of Poems.

I am still trying to get a few more on the market, but there is a long road ahead for those. For those of you that do not know, my publishing brand has been around since 1992 and those most of the first ten years were comic books, I am working on converting some of those old comic books into a digital format as well.

One thing that I feel that I should address it that for any of you who follow the JayZoModcast, I was decided earlier this month that as of May 30th, we will be ending the Syndication brand of the network. I feel absolutely fortunate to have created new founded friendships in the process, and all were willing to go along with a novel idea, and I cannot say thank you enough! It was not an easy decision to make, but as costs continue to skyrocket because of the direct effects of the pandemic and I can no long justify the cost to continue said brand.

Switching back on a more positive note, we are actively in the works to bring to you a brand new PRINT literary magazine called 2M Magazine. For those of you who have been around for a while may remember that over a decade ago, we had planned to offer you 2M. But things happened and we quickly canceled the project. We have waited and grown, and I learn from my mistakes as this time around The JayZoMon/Dark Myth Company will continue to produce The World of Myth Magazine at the same time we publish the new magazine.

Now for those of you who listen to Stephanie on The World of Myth Bits podcast already know this information, but a few emails have trickled in with a common concern—so let me address that real fast. Steph will remain the Editor in Chief of The World of Myth, we discussed this personally and she has declined the change from one magazine to the other. With that said, she will be overseeing the first issue of 2M Magazine, but that is to assist whomever I hire to be the EiC over there. She will not be leaving and will continue her contract until the end of December when it becomes time for a new one to be drafted.

Okay and finally! As we are on the final contributors to be selected in the Open Contract Challenge tomorrow (May 25th), Steph will announce contestants seven and eight and the last two remaining the following Monday (June 1st). Also, an email will be issued to all ten contestants with information of what is next and what is expected as we once again have a wide range of mediums in the contest and possibly most important, when the deadline is to have everything back to be sorted and judged. Not to worry if you have any questions about the contest, all the info can also be found at: www.opencontractchallenge.com.

There is so much more to be done this month and next, so come back next time and find out more juicy stuff!

Until Next time!

With respect to you all!
