Roam

I fear I'm slowly sinking

Into that darker place

I cannot hide that spiral

With this sad look upon my face

Though I hear the eternal calling

I feel lost and all alone

From the wicked they come crawling

All the sins they are my own

I profess that which I've done

And am buried in my shame

The promise that was broken

It was a curse upon my name

I will forever bathe in darkness

In this, which is my home

The eternally forgotten

A barren road on which I roam
