Hello my Darlings!! I have to say, it has been a weird and wacky month that is for sure! The weather seems to be on the fritz, and somehow I managed to turn a year older! For a short month it has been a busy one! I think I have almost caught my breath nope wait I was wrong! I would like to send out a great big Hi, Hello, and welcome to the World of Myth family to all our new writer's this month. I'd like to start out by saying a huge congratulations to Mark Kodama and his Member of the Month win with the first part of his story Land of the Pharaoh's. Well done! I am excited to see how the second part of this story plays out in this months issue! Also, congratulations to Molly E. Hamilton and part one of Ruanna's Dreams for being chosen for Featured article. It is definitely one to read! We have a jammed packed issue this month, and I am sure there is something for everyone to read! Starting over in the Fantasy section, joining Molly, is part two to Copper Rose's story Feeding the Queen of the Underworld, I was certainly waiting for this one! R.J. Judges, new comer to the World of Myth treats us to a wonderful tale with Cherished Moons and Buttered Bread, then we have Michael A. Arnold, another new contributor with his story The Book. Both completely different kinds of stories but both of which are sure to keep you guessing and reading! Then we move on to a perfect flight of fancy with Bruce Rowe's The Rim of the Sky, which is all a fantasy should be. Mehreen Ahmed delights us again with another incredible tale called Since the Last Soiree then I round out the section with my next piece in the Merrik/Celeste saga Lessons Learned Horror brings you three selections this month with Steve Carr's Thirst, this one really gave me the willy's! Tom Fowler brings life to The Statue of Rebecca Lane and we delve into Part Two of Matt Wall's Satanicus. This one had an ending that surprised the heck outta me! Mark Kodama and the second part to his tale is joined by Part 15 of Through the Eyes of Madness by David K. Montoya and I do have to say, both of these stories are really starting to heat up. Science Fictions greets us with the second part of Walter G. Esselman's The Mystery of the Black Nail, which totally took me by surprise, it was definitely what I was expecting and I enjoyed it! We are treated to 3 offerings over in the Humor section this month. New comer Bill Diamond tells us a tale of the Curse of the Red Jewels and I will admit I had a good laugh at this one. Then Alan Russo draws us into a wonderful parody piece called Through the Nose That's Hairy and if you have been following along with any of the other stories, you will get the humor in this one. We close out our short story section with a weird and wonderfully funny piece by Melissa Small called Wool of Time, watch out for those sheep! Once you've had a good read, head over to our poetry section. I promise it won't disappoint. Susanne Thomas treats us to part one of Thorne, Melissa Ridley Elmes waxes poetic in a cautionary tale titled Raymond's Choice. New comer Christopher Bice entertains us with his style in New Beginnings followed by another new comer Patricia McNelly and her poem Imagine She Is A Butterfly. Gracing our front cover and here in the Gallery is Kristofer Harris and his piece Anansi. New comer Ed Bickford takes us back to in time while propelling us into the future with Cyborg Girl and David K Montoya shows that there is more than just words to this man in his painting An Ode to Girl with Balloon and the ever so talented Randolph R. Lofgren gives us an image to match his words in Live, Laugh, Love Over in our Review section Jason Bechard has found something to tickle his fancy and revive his faith in good movies with his review of Grade 8 and The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot. Jim Small gives us his review Yahtzee Croshaw's Will Save the Galaxy for Food and Pryce Less reviews the video game Fallout: New Vegas. Finishing the review section is, as always, our art review by David K. Montoya titled Banksy's Girl with a Balloon. No one told him he isn't leaving the review department. I have him chained to the desk! Along with the review we also have his Commentary from the Founder Now something new and exciting happened over in the Interview section while I wasn't watching. I am going to have to keep a closer eye on that Myth Master. He seems to be running a little rampant! As you will see, what started as a nice, mild written interview, turned into so, so much more. Make sure you read the interview and click the link at the bottom to see what really happened after Molly E. Hamilton put her pen down, and her guard! I am going to close out my introduction to this months magazine with a big loud "Holy Cow!" There is so much packed in here, I was never short on things to read leading up to this release!
