On the Wings, On the Backs By: Michael A. Sauve

On the Wings, On the Backs
By: Michael A. Sauve

On the wings of angels
On the backs of demons
We soar swiftly unto our enemies
With their shattered help
And their soul sought blessings
We reach our half breed fickled remedies

On the wings of demons
On the backs of angels
Our blood spills with eager crimson tides
Emotions are kept swept
The children they still wept
Within our decayed hope the pain hides

On our own wide spread wings
On our own crippled backs
We make our way unto another night
Unknown the location
Unsought destinations
We make our exhausted stand and bold fight
