Without you by Kevin Adams

Without you
By: Kevin Adams

No words can say what I would do,
Should I ever happen to lose you.

My soul would be lost and my anger stirred,
My heart broken and spiritual vision blurred.

I could no longer see a guiding light,
Or find warmth on a cold dreary night.

What path would I walk from here on,
Now that my reason for living was gone?

If I lose you, I would lose all;
I would drown in sorrow and surely fall.

My limbs would fall useless at my side,
As I knelt to the floor and forever cried.

One day you and I will have heavenly wings,
And we will have no time for depressing things.

I try and ease my mind as I sit by your side,
Stroking your soft hair and smiling wide.

Being your father has completed my life,
With you in my world I am void of strife.
