Well come to the Big, end of the year, Blow Out special issue of "The World of Myth!" We worked hard to bring you an extra big issue this month, so sit back, relax and Enjoy!
In our story section, Steve Bolin, who last month garnered member of the month honors from our readers with his first poetry submission, returns with a short treat, "Hate Mail." We also want to welcome another new contributor to the site, Sarah Wilson, who teases us with her short story, "The Testament." L.M. Mercer and David K. Montoya return with new additions to their serial stories (plus a couple of surprise, 'short' pieces), and since they were having so much fun with their continuing stories, I decided to enter the ring as well, and offer you the first installment of a new fantasy serial.
The poetry section is full, including pieces from Kevin Magnus, Shaddow and Rebecca Lofgren, while Balcony Betty and Reaper Rick offer extended movie reviews this month. Don't forget to stop by The Month in Myth for a look at what Christmas really stands for, and be sure to read the FYI section, as we have culled through the past 11 issues to bring you highlights from 2005, here at "The World of Myth."
Since we hope to open our "Myth Mart" on-line store in 2006, we want to get things up and running by offering our readers a chance to obtain a copy of our new, "The World of Myth," 2006 calender. This limited edition, 12 month calender will showcase artwork from four of our regular art contributors (three pictures from each artist), Rebecca Lofgren, David K. Montoya, MOK and myself. Each calender will be signed on the cover by all four artists and will quickly become a collectors item, aside from being a colorful and eye-catching wall calender. You may view and order the calendar in the new, "Myth Mart" section. During the next few weeks, we will offer other unique items in our new store, including the Special Edition SMASH! comic, written and penned by David K. Montoya. Also available for purchase will be individual, quality, signed lithographs of all the art work which is appearing in the 2006 calendar, plus other surprises, which will be announced as they come in.
All in all, it has been a rough and rocky year for many of us here at "The World of Myth" and during this holiday season, we want to wish our readers all the best, and especially a Happy New Year! With your continued support, we hope to enter 2006 with a Bang! and plan to offer new surprises from our staff and contributors during the coming twelve months. Stick around and see what we have to share with you, all through the New Year. For now, may peace, joy and happiness be with everyone, and to all, I wish you a Good Night!
