The Kite
By: Dr. Pragya Suman
In situation
That was eaten up
In the guts. Now was beyond words
In the hilly equatorial shop
Kite was bought.
I bended down
To whimpering daughter
The clue was in the kite
Tucked
In the twigs
of unflinching poppler though
And one day it happened so
Just after winter
Kite dropped down
In the woosening wind
My daughter began to fly it again
But the situation remained the same.
