Last Call
By: James Rumpel

When Miles got to the bar, the place was bustling. Laughter and screams assaulted his ears while he sat, alone in his booth.

Hours later, he went to the bathroom, he noted that things had died down. Only the bartender and a couple of patrons remained..

From the bathroom, he heard gleeful, almost maniacal, laughter. At least someone's having fun, he thought.

When he came out only the bartender remained.

"I guess everyone's gone."

"You're the last," replied the bartender, a huge smile on his face.

Miles stepped back when he noticed his blood-covered fangs and glowing red eyes.
