My Reward by Kevin Magnus

My Reward
By: Kevin Magnus

I have learned that very soon I will be dead--

Will you hold the guilt upon your head?

What will you say about me after I’m gone?

“He was a hard worker, but just a pawn.”

So, will you follow my wishes as I ask?

Or do things your way, just to complete the task.

Know that my death will be your fault,

Remember this, as they put me in a vault.

Know too, that Death will be my companion as I ascend,

And know I will finally be free, at the very end.
