Name Set In stone by Kevin Magnus

Name set in stone
By: Kevin Magnus

When the day comes to set my name in stone,

to be placed in the ground all alone,

will there be tears of grieving pain

now that I will be entering a higher domain?

Or will there be no tears shed that day,

no one to mourn or pray.

Maybe I would truly be remembered,

to stand forever like the giant timber.

No one will know until that day comes,

when I go cold and my body goes numb,

Nothing more then flesh and bone,

on the day my name is set in stone.
