Sometimes it is tough to figure out what exactly I want to talk or rant about—whatever the case may be. Since I got a few emails (no really, I got three people that emailed me and asked this question), so I will cover it and then if we have time, we will chat about something else.

The question that I was asked by the three lovely readers was, "How's the heart?"

In short, better. Much better.

April was a test of my patience as I fought with my HMO to be approved to see a Cardiologist. For real! I had a bit more chest pain, and tachycardia that month, but figured that it might have had to do with the amount of caffeine I consumed—I mean seriously I drink like a gallon of tea per day.

By the time May rolled around, I was starting to feel like myself (well other than turning 41 on the eighth, did you know I was 27 when issue one of this magazine came out—I'm getting old gang). Since I was feeling better, I obviously wanted to get back into the gym and get my ass back in shape! But, to my dismay, I again had to wait for my HMO to approve a cardiac stress test, that my Cardiologist wanted to do on me.

Which leads me into June, as of the 14th, I was approved by my lovely insurance company to participate in the Stress Test. After which, a request to do the next test called a 2D Echocardiogram to see what the blockage is going on up in that bad boy. Then, if it's bad enough they will submit another request to perform a Heart Cath (which I wont lie, I do not want to do). A Heart Cath is a procedure to examine how well my heart is working. A thin, hollow tube called a "catheter" will be inserted into a large blood vessel in my groin that leads to my heart. Doesn't that sound fun kids!

So, hopefully, I will be able to get back to the gym, some time this year, but we will have to wait and see. I've maintained my Keto Diet so my weight gain won't be that horrendous and though I know they frown on it, I still knock out fifty inverted push ups to keep some kind of definition in my chest and arms. I will keep everyone updated with the months that follow on exactly what is the outcome in all of this.

All right, it looks as if I will have some time to talk a little about something. After months of having to keep quiet, I can now talk about one of many things that is happening behind the scenes! I am comfortable to publicly say that the JayZoMon/Dark Myth Company has licensed to create and actively produce our first ever action figure!

That's right boys and girls, we're making our first of, hopefully, many in our up–and–coming toy line! As of this moment, I approved the final sculpture hand carved from master toy–maker David Arshawsky (the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Toxic Crusader, Earthworm Jim, Skeleton Warriors, Monster Force, Star Trek, W.I.L.D.C.A.T.S., Turok, and many more—I'm sure you know a few off those names)!

The week of this writing, we have agreed on the final touch ups and will move forward in creating the first of two master–molds (no, not like the X–Men).

So wanna know who will be our first toy, uh er, I mean action figure? I had to think about this one, it was Mario Martinez who convinced me to go with the first comic book character that Dark Myth Comics released back ten years ago this month! So of course, I am talking about none other than our favorite Samurai, Ayot Nom!

Besides the action figure, we have set into motion that it will be accompanied with a special edition comic book, created specifically for this project and will not see it published for our comic book line—I want to make this publicly known! I personally would love to have the original artist return to draw this project, but due to his high rate for pages rendered, I cannot afford his going price. I will not say how much, but to have him draw the comic would cost twice as much more than what I have already invested in creating a toy. So, I do not want anyone running around saying it's personal, or whatever—I just simply cannot afford his asking price, and that's it.

With that said, we are currently looking into hiring a brand new art team, I'm thinking more of a Manga/Anime style this time around for this comic (which is in fact, penned by yours truly, thanks for asking).

We have decided to issue a special "Internet" edition of the action figure via public crowdfunding Indiegogo, and once they are sold, we are breaking that particular cast and will never be made again! More to come in the coming issues, so keep your eyes peeled here in the magazine for more information!

Needless to say there is so much more to be revealed in the coming months, but I have to makes sure everything is perfect before I can open my mouth, that or I can legally talk about it—that's the huge, huge one that I'm legally sworn to secrecy!

But in time, as all good things comes to those that wait! Next month, I'll talk a little about the third Anthology, that's currently placed on hold, and get some thoughts from everyone how to release it and information about 2019 calendars! Oh, and a new novel coming from Dark Myth Publication around Christmas time, what?!

All right, that's enough teasing for this issue. Thank you for coming back month after month reading my never ending rambles, so until next time kids! Keep Readin'!

With respect to you all!
